Microsoft Photosynth is set to bring a new dimension to digital photography
With many online services (such as Flickr) providing the ability to store and share you digital images online, there are now literally millions of digital images and photos stored online.
Microsoft are working on a new technology called Photosynth. This technology is capable of recreating entire 3D environments by aggregating many individual related images together.

The Microsoft lab team have now also released a Firefox extension for the software.
